My daughter and I had the MOST relaxing and calming experience. Erin and Joelle were amazing. I’d choose this over a massage any day. We left there feeling refreshed and all the aches were gone from my neck, and my daughter felt like it helped with her sinuses. They’re very thorough about the treatment. If you’re considering a calm, holistic Japanese head spa, book it! I promise you won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be back frequently.

Had a much needed spa day with my bestie yesterday as her birthday gift. We absolutely loved the experience from beginning to end. It was indulgent to every sense. The wonderful aroma of relaxing oils, the sound of soothing music, the darkened room with the sound of water, and the relaxing tea ritual invited any tension to leave at the start. We started with the soothing foot soak and massage, then moved to the head spa. Every moment was euphoric and we left feeling lighter and renewed. Erin and her staff are genuine and attentive to the entire experience and I would highly recommend a visit to the Black Swan.

I can hardly find the words to describe how incredible this experience was for us! We called and asked to schedule a group of 4 of us for a special and early Galentine’s Day celebration. They were so accommodating. Two of us were in one room and the other two were in a different room together. We all received the Purify treatment and were so pleased with the scalp massage and shampoo. Our before and after pictures were an unbelievable difference. Pure and total relaxation and rejuvenation and staff that went above and beyond to add personal touches throughout the experience including a sign welcoming us to the facility and personalized name plates in the changing room. I will tell everyone I know about this experience and I will make it a point to go as frequently as my schedule and budget allows

In a chaotic world, this is an oasis. I was impressed even before I got there, with the reminder text being very explicit about directions for parking and to the spa, nestled among the anything-but-cookie-cutter residential to commercial converted part of Broad Ripple. The entire spa floor oozed warmth and had so many delightful touches throughout. Erin has channeled her vibrant prism of talents into this one radiant place and exclusive offering. From her gentle handling, depth of knowledge, and centeredness, to the decor of the space, lighting, and sounds, every element felt like a kind and genuine invitation to feel safe, breathe, and let go. There were so many little touches that brought to mind the book "Unreasonable Hospitality." The gorgeous little bouquet in the changing room; the little personalized name plate above the valuables locker; the soft eye mask; the frame-worthy logo; the cup of tea for the road. Once on the treatment table, my head felt like an instrument in the hands of a seasoned virtuoso. I don't think I've ever used the word transcendental in a review until now, but I cannot think of a better descriptor for the experience. Not only was it a wonderful nervous system reset, executed with artistry and efficiency, but comparing the before and afters of my scalp, I was overdue for this practical part of the experience. I was making a mental list of people I have to tell about this place before I was done with the treatment. And it turns out, they also offer a concurrent treatments for couples or friends. Anyone looking for a creative gift for an anniversary or other occasion would be wise to book this well in advance--I know I plan to do just that!
